In exchange for a review, social media promotion, and blog posts, we were given a complimentary stay at Zion Mountain Ranch. However, all opinions are my own!
During our visit to Zion National Park, we stayed at Zion Mountain Ranch in the cutest, rustic-looking cabin. If you’re looking to stay somewhere that is nice but still has an outdoorsy feel, then look no further! This was actually not the first time staying here, I stayed with my family nearly 12 years ago on a family vacation, so when looking at places to stay, this was at the top of my list!
The lodge/ front desk is surrounded by a fresh garden which is used by the lodge’s restaurant, Cordwood. The reception area has a great gift shop too (more than just your typical cheap touristy items).
Zion Mountain Ranch has almost 60 cabins on its property, ranging from cozy studios for two, to large cabins that can accommodate up to 12 people!
We stayed in the 2-bedroom lodge. With three bedrooms (one was much smaller than the others), three bathrooms, a living room, dining room and a kitchen, it has more than enough room for families or a big group of friends!
The two major bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) both had huge king beds that were very comfortable. I slept like a baby!
The bathrooms were attached and had giant clawfoot tubs — my favorite part! They also had walk-in showers too.
The upstairs bathroom had a patio that overlooked all of Zion Mountain Ranch’s property, it was a perfect spot for morning coffee.
How great is this patio balcony in our cabin at Zion Mountain Ranch?! We loved having coffee out there in the mornings! You can even catch a glimpse of the bison that call @zionmountainranch home! . . . The downstairs bedroom also had a patio that looked out over the property too.
Here is a full video tour I did on my Instagram stories while there:
Zion Mountain Ranch has 300 acres for the Great American Bison that calls ZMR home can roam. It’s amazing to get to see these beautiful creatures up close and personal!
The Ranch has lots of roosters and chickens on the property, so be prepared to hear those bright and early!
They also have goats that are hilarious to watch (when they’re not sleeping haha)!
Cordwood, ZMR’s farm to table restaurant, creates healthy, sustainable food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! What isn’t grown onsite, the kitchen carefully sources from the highest-quality vendors. The menu changes throughout the seasons, so be sure to check when visiting!
Zion Mountain Ranch offers many activities on site, one of those being a horseback trail ride! Shelly and I both loved doing this, so much so I wrote a whole blog post on it: Horseback Riding at Zion Canyon.
The resort has quite a few amenities. They do have a spa that offers in-room massages. We didn’t end up getting one, but I’m sure they’d be great!
They have wifi, but its only available in the lodge/restaurant, which can be a negative for some people. We had service in our cabin itself, so using a cell phone worked.
All in all, I loved staying here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
