With Christmas just a month away now, you better get on your Christmas shopping! I’ve made it a little easier for those of you who need to get something for someone who loves to travel. This is my ultimate gift guide for the travel-obsessed:
Gifts for the Traveller:
1. Packing Cubes
If you aren’t using packing cubes when you travel, you’re doing it wrong! My mom first got these and I didn’t pay any mind to them but soon realized they really do make a huge difference in packing!
2. Multi USB Charger It allows you to charge multiple devices at once, which can be quite handy! It also helps you make friends at the airport if you share 😉
3. Portable Phone Charger
I can’t tell you how many times one of these has saved me when I’ve been out and about all day. This one is small enough to easily fit in a purse or backpack.
4. Double Travel Hammock
Lightweight, convenient, and perfect for an impromptu nap on the beach or while hiking.
6. Scratch Map of the World
How cool is this to keep track of all your travels around the world?! I want one to keep back in my room at home!
7. Lonely Planet’s Ultimate Travel: Our List of the 500 Best Places to See
This one needs no explanation. Not sure where to go next? Flip through this book for some inspiration!
8. Camera Strap
OK SO I’M IN LOVE. I somehow stumbled upon this online store, Ixchel Triangle, via their Instagram account, and just want to buy everything! They also have bags, guitar straps, backpacks, etc. all in gorgeous fabrics like this one.
9. Polaroid Camera
I still love the look of polaroids, they have such a cool feel to them. Tip: they’re also an awesome way to remember friends made while traveling — take a picture together and give them a copy with your contact info written on the back!
10. Solar Charger
This is so cool! Really convenient for when there is a lack of plugs and a surplus of sunshine!
11. Scratch Travel Journal
Right before I left for Australia, a good friend gave me a journal as a going away gift — and I couldn’t be more thankful for that! I bring it everywhere with me and use it constantly. This one is extra cool because it’s travel specific!
12. 4-in-1 lens for iPhone
Take your iPhone photography game to the next level with these snap on lenses! The wide angle lens is great for landscape photos!
Splurges:
1. GoPro
Because GoPros are awesome. Alternatively, I bought this “knock-off” GoPro and absolutely love it. It’s way cheaper (only $50 USD) and I took some seriously great pictures with it at The Great Barrier Reef.
2. Drone
These can range from $100 up to $1000+ for the top of the line ones. Drones can take your travel photography to the next level — I’ve been seriously looking into one! The one pictured is on the lower end side of things, but highly reviewed!
3. Carry-on Luggage
A new carry-on as a gift is always a good idea and will never be unappreciated — especially ones as stylish as these! From right to left: Nicole Miller, Rockland, London Fog.
Stocking Stuffers
1. Collapsible Water bottle
Super handy for backpackers when every little bit of space counts! This one hold 125 ml
2. Anywhere Travel Guide
I love the idea of this Anywhere Travel Guide! Such a cool “game” to play while traveling! Also can be helpful for being a tourist in your own city.
3. Luggage Scale
As a notorious over packer, this is a must-have. Nothing is worse than getting to the airport only to realize you’re over the weight limit on your luggage.
4. Personalized Luggage Tags
In the past, I’ve always just used those flimsy airport ones, but now that I’m traveling more, a high-quality luggage tag is needed. Such a lovely extra to personalize it with initials.
5. Compressed Towels
Another cool idea for those travelers who are tight on space and need towels on the go!
6. Sleep Mask
This is the one I use every single night, but the one above is cuter! I originally bought it for the plane ride over to Australia, but just love how it blocks out all light.
7. Passport Case
I am including a couple different options here. The first one is the one I have and it’s great — nice material and is RFID blocking! The second one I just think is too cute, and perfect for the adventurous soul. Third, I of course had to include one a little bit more manly. And last but certainly not least, the Kate Spade one.
Happy holidays and happier shopping 😉
