Want to visit Canyonlands National Park? It’s a beautiful National Park in Utah that has so much to explore. I personally recommend going with a guided tour (read why here) in order to see as much as possible! Here’s a little peek of what you can expect from visiting Canyonlands National Park:

Top Things to See in Canyonlands
Here are some of the top things to see on your visit to Canyonlands National Park:
- Shafer Trail
- Island in the Sky
- White Rim
- The Needles
- Visitor Center Viewpoint
- Shafer Canyon Viewpoint
- Buck Canyon Viewpoint
- Grand View Point
There are a lot of great tour options out there that will take you to see the majority of these places! And it’s a lot easier to navigate with a guide then on your own.

Where to Stay Near Canyonlands
When visiting Canyonlands National Park, I suggest you stay in Moab, Utah. For a classic Route 66 style motel, check out Expedition Lodge. For a more upscale, modern feel, check out Homewood Suites by Hilton. Both are good hotels in Moab!

Why You Should Book a Tour
Because the terrain in Canyonlands is so rough and the roads can be dangerous, I highly recommend booking a tour if you want to go off-roading! We had a great experience with NAVTEC and got to explore Arches National Park too.
