Hotel Review: Napa River Inn

Best Place to Stay in Downtown Napa: Napa River Inn

During my trip to Downtown Napa, I had the pleasure of staying at the lovely Napa River Inn for 2 nights. This historic hotel has all the charm you’d expect from a hotel in downtown Napa, California! It’s 66 guest rooms are nestled right along the waterfront of the Napa River. The hotel features 3 different buildings, each with its own charm.

Where to Stay in Downtown Napa: Napa River Inn

Napa River Inn Rooms

The Main building of The Napa River Inn has the most historic rooms. I stayed in one of the “Historic Deluxe” rooms and it was gorgeous!

Each of these rooms comes with a big King canopy bed, a fireplace, a walk-in shower, and a gorgeous clawfoot tub (my favorite part)! Every morning you can have complimentary pastries delivered from Sweetie Pie’s Bakery. It also includes an in-room coffee maker, refrigerator with complimentary water bottles, and fluffy, soft terry robes! I did a tour of the room on my Instagram story:

Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to check out the Napa River Inn’s spa, but it looked really nice! They offer all types of massages, body wraps, facials, and more.

The toiletries in the room were NV Organics, and all wine/grape infused — perfect for Downtown Napa! I took home the grape seed exfoliating face scrub and face oil and they have actually replaced my other beauty products, that’s how much I like them! Whenever I run out, I’m definitely going to order more.

The hotel is part of the old Napa Mill area. There are several great places to eat and drink in the area! The Napa General Store is one, they serve up great food and do wine tastings as well! Out on the patio, they had a beautiful mosaic water fountain.

Where to Book

You can book directly on their website. Bonus: The Napa River Inn is pet-friendly, you can bring your pets for an extra $25 per night! After staying here for a couple nights, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in downtown Napa!
