Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia
Last weekend I checked off another item on my bucket list, the amazing Sydney Taronga Zoo! I went with the family, and it was by far one of the best zoos I’ve been to (and that’s saying a lot — I am a bit of a zoo fanatic). I took over 500 pictures during my visit there, but figured I’d spare you a couple of hours and just share the highlights 😉
Giraffes Have the Best View
The view of the Sydney harbor from the Giraffe enclosure is amazing! Just one of the things I love about Sydney.
Monkey Exhibit in the Zoo
The monkey at this zoo have an awesome enclosure with tons of space to roam around and play in!
The Rams
It was awesome to get to see these beautiful creatures up close like this!
The Zebras
Zebras are one of my favorite animals to see at the Zoo!
The Free-Fly Bird Show (my favorite!!)
I had heard about this show beforehand, and it truly was my favorite part! This is NOT to be missed at The Taronga Zoo.

A fun show to watch for parents and kids alike!

The plants in the Sydney Zoo
Unfortunately, there were quite a few exhibits undergoing construction, so we weren’t able to see everything, but I will definitely be going back! The kids also got a little tired toward the end so we may have missed some other highlights — what is your favorite at the Sydney Taronga Zoo?
