Barmini by Jose Andres is hands down one of the coolest bars I’ve ever experienced. If you are ever in DC, you must go! My mom and I decided to do the 2-hour cocktail flight experience. Here are just some of the awesome drinks and snacks we had made for us (side note – I was too busy eating and drinking to get pics of everything, so I did borrow pics off of yelp, all credit is given when due).
Barmini by Jose Andres
Mojito Sphere – White Rum, Mint, Lime. I don’t know if yall remember those icebreakers liquid ice mints that burst in your mouth, but it was like that!
The Highlander – scotch, mezcal, rosemary, and creme de cacao cloud. This on was my absolute favorite.

Cedar and Agave – tequila reposado, benedictine, agave, orange bitters, smoke. They literally burn a cedar plank in front of you and let the smoke accumulate in the glass before pouring in the liquid… you really can taste the smokey cedar, it’s amazing.
Dark Side of the Moon – Old Tom Gin, Creme de Violette, Lemon, Egg White, Citrus Ash

Cross-Eyed Mary – Aged Rum, Lime, Honey, Passion Fruit Espuma
Carmen Miranda – Banana Bourbon, Cinnamon, Sugar, Angostura Bitters

Liquid Nitrogen Slushie – My mom is a bit of a science enthusiast [read nerd 😉 ] so she especially enjoyed this one. It was made right in front of us using liquid nitrogen to make a slushie pallet cleanser!
Oyster Ceviche – Sphere Kusshi Oyster, Leche de Tigre, Puffed Corn, Coriander
Truffle Grilled Cheese – Valdeon, Brie, White Cheddar, Bonne Bouche, Truffle

Avocado Toast – Avocado, Cashew Crema

Foieffle – Foie Gras Waffle, Peanut Butter, Honey

Acetitunas ‘Ferran Adrua‘ – ‘Ferran Adria’ liquid olives
