Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, located 3.5 hours out of Hanoi, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and incredible to see! I had always wanted to visit and it definitely lived up to my expectations!
The best way to see Ha Long Bay is by cruise. We did an overnight one, and it was great seeing the bay like that! The limestone karsts are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

We stopped at a small island where you can climb to the top of a mountain and see the bay from way high up! It’s a hellluva a hike I won’t lie, but for the view below, its worth it.
I would recommend doing a kayak tour, its cool to explore the caves formed in the limestone. We also saw monkeys that live on the different islands!
