Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm was probably my favorite place we stayed from our entire Utah Road Trip! Located near downtown Albuquerque on 25 acres of lavender fields, cottonwood trees, and formal gardens, this place is an absolute gem for so many reasons. If you’re wondering where to stay in Albuquerque, look no further!
Where to Stay in Albuquerque: Los Poblanos Historic Inn
The Property

The entire property of Los Poblanos Inn was just beautiful. I loved the classic New Mexico style of all the buildings, most of which were designed by John Gaw Meem, a world-renown architect. The interiors also had a very authentic New Mexico/Santa Fe style.

The Room
Our room was very cute and cozy! I loved the decor and how bright and open it was. The bathroom was nice as well and had a huge tub and shower. It is the perfect size for two people.

They were even kind enough to leave us a welcoming package!

The Food + Restaurant
The on-site restaurant is one of the highest-rated in Albuquerque! I highly recommend you make a reservation beforehand, we did not and unfortunately didn’t get to eat until almost 9 PM. Because of that, most of my photos of dinner are dark and not great, but it was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend!

We had their breakfast the next morning, and it was equally as good as dinner the night before. You must try their lavender latte, it was fantastic!

The Lavender
Lavender is my favorite color and scent, so I was in heaven among the lavender fields at Los Poblanos Inn! I would highly recommend visiting while the lavender is blooming if you can. We missed the peak blooming season, but it was still wonderful to see.

The Store
Most hotel shops are pretty cheesy, but that couldn’t be further from the truth at the Farm Shop at Los Poblanos Historic Inn! Everything in their store was beautiful and fit right along with the feel of the Inn.

The Los Poblanos Inn Alpacas
Okay, I’d be lying if I said the alpacas weren’t one of my favorite parts of staying here! These four Alpacas call Los Poblanos Inn home and are hysterical to see… you can’t help but love them!

The property is also home to many peacocks and guinea fowl as well! It is so cool to see them roaming around freely.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Albuquerque, I can’t stress enough how great Los Poblanos Historic Inn is! It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or quiet girls weekend. From Zion’s towering cliffs to Arches’ delicate dances, this promises a sensory overload. So, dust off that map, crank up the tunes, and let the adventure begin. Once, trying to navigate a festival crowd felt a bit like a Slither io game, bumping and weaving around obstacles just to get to the food trucks!
