Glamping Packing List: The Essentials
Depending on your level of glamping, you may need more items than what’s on this list. I typically lean toward more luxury glamping where the accommodations have almost everything you need, so that’s what this list reflects:
- flashlight
- water bottle
- first aid kit
- bug spray (I love this natural, DEET-free one)
- cooler
- any additional food or drinks you might want
- blankets
Glamping Essentials: Clothing + Accessories
Clothing to Wear Glamping:
Again, this will depend on where you are glamping and the season, but remember, it can get cold at night no matter the season, so it’s always best to bring warmer clothes just in case!
- t-shirts
- sweatshirt
- shortsÂ
- activewear bottoms
- jeans
- lightweight jacket
- pajamas
- underwear
- bras
- socks
- hat
- swimsuit + cover-up
- rain jacket
- sunglasses
Glamping T-shirts
Glamping Sweatshirts
Shoes to Bring Glamping:
The kind of shoes you bring glamping depends on the activities you plan on doing! A good rule of thumb would be to bring these:
- sneakers
- flip flops or sandals
- hiking boots (Merrell is my fave)
- rain boots (depending on weather)
- slippers or soft indoor shoes for inside your glamping accommodation

Glamping Essentials: Toiletries
If you’re staying in a luxury glamping place, chances are you only need to bring the beauty products you’d normally pack, but always double-check with your accommodations beforehand! Here are the toiletries you should bring glamping:
- toothbrush + toothpaste
- lotion
- face wash
- sunscreen
- make-up (if you want)
- hairbrush (Wet Brush is the BEST)
- dry shampoo
- shampoo + conditioner
- hair detangler
- bug spray (I love this natural, DEET-free one)
- hair ties/scrunchies
- deodorant
- hand sanitizer
- chapstick
- meds

Glamping Packing List: Other Things to Bring
When packing for a glamping trip, here are some other things to consider bringing for entertainment:Â
- phone + charger
- books or magazines (I love my Kindle)
- speaker for music
- card games or board games
- outdoor games
- camera gear
- drone (check out why I love mine here)
- laptop + charger
- DVDs or movies (these are my favorite travel movies)
- portable WiFi
